The Man Who Built Cambodia, the award-winning short film about the legendary architect Vann Molyvann, is coming to Manila. The Philippines premiere is sponsored by The Asia Foundation and will be shown at Pineapple Lab on Tuesday, November 15 at 8pm.
A panel discussion moderated by Carlos Celdran will immediately follow the screening. Panelists will include leading architects and urban planners, as well as the film's producer, Haig Balian. They'll touch on themes from the film, including urban growth and the place of vernacular architecture that reflects local traditions.
